Español's captain Dani Jarque, 26, has died today from a heart attack. His teammates were waiting at the restaurant to have supper and when he had not come down yet they went to his room and found him unconscious. Sent to hospital they could do nothing.

May he rest in peace and be given God's Glory

RIP.

Sorry To Hear This

I Dont Even No Who He Is

R.I.P

That sucks, heart attack at 26, and to a footballer too.

Awful. :l Imagine how susceptible everybody else is.

Poor Lad, That's really bad :/ Never heard of the lad, but no one deserves to die so young.

R.I.P Dani Jarque

These has been a few football player die of heart attack's hasent there??

RIP, he was a very promising player as well... what a shame - Madrid have the same thing with DE LA RED it's a shame the talent cannot be showcased anymore

Yes, past season there were two that I know: one bielorrusian which name I didn't catch as I switched news in mid of that news and Antonio Puerta from Sevilla.

Last known from de la Red, who has heart problems, was some weeks ago, when they said his problem was not yet identified, but that he shouldn't play yet. They're waiting for some results to tests that will be known in autumn and then they'll know if he can be back in the team for winter transfer window or he can't play again. He's also finished his coach courses, so he may still have future in the dugouts. And got married too, so there's some great good for him, at least.

Okay cheers, I've heard Doctors have said that De La Red will be out for this season thats all I heard

Yeah Thuram had to cut his career early too after being identified as having the same heart problem as his brother who dies tragically playing Basketball. It was only the other day I was in the same ground as this lad watching Espanyol V Liverpool at the unveiling of their new stadium! R.I.P Daniel Jarque.

It's really upsetting when fit and healthy people die at such a young age i mean he is 26 only 5 years older than me and i sure as **** don't have the healthiest lifestyle

RIP
