Nigel Adkins resigns from Southampton post!
Nigel Adkins has resigned from his role as Southampton manager. Many believe that he has chosen to resign due to a serious illness but nothing has been confirmed yet. The Saints have already begun their search for his replacement, with a few managers already on the radar. Roy Hodgson is among the favourites for the job, which would see him manager a nation and a club at the same time. Rookie manager George Clark is also an option, although his tiny experience may put the chairman off his appointment.

This just in: Rookie manager George Clark has been unveiled as the new Southampton Manager. Even though he has a lack of experience at this level, the chairman is convinced that this is the right decision for the football club. This is what he had to say.

"I'm delighted that George is now the manager. He has the perfect attitude to take the club forward and he is already looking at some new faces to bring in."
