Most of the guys here seem fascinated with the concept of possession football..
Of course it makes sense because you control the game and also lower the oppositions chances of scoring..
But i was thinking to my self..

So here i am askin' you guys for tips that would make my team concede less than 6-7 goals a season.. (no champions league and cups included)
For the formation i was thinking a deep 4-2-3-1.. (dmcs)
It makes sense because the dmc's put an extra line of defense in front of the dc's but also help with launching swift counter attacks..
Also narrow width would be essential..
But for now that's about what i have..
Im troubled with the closing down setting and the defensive line..
If i play a deep defensive line and set closing down to ''stand off''', i think i would be letting the opposition too much on the ball time..
That's not what im after..
I don't want to park a bus..
Im also not sure about strategy and philosophy yet..
Counter doesn't seem to work that well with middle-top teams so i think i've ruled that out.. (although logically it would make sense)
Anyways i would appreciate any help coming my way..
