Liverpool winger Maxi Rodriguez could be on his way back to his boyhood club Newell's Old Boys in Argentina.

He hit impressive form come the end of the season, why would he move when they're on the up?

He earns too much in wages... Reportedly about 80k a week. We really need to slash our wage budget.

Good player, not really a game changer, but a very good team player. I like him, would hope for him to stay, but if he wants to go we should get in a sort of N'zogbia replacement.

Fair play. He's rebuilt his reputation after an unsteady start at 'Pool and delivered some performances which warranted his wages. Now he understands he's on the decline and is moving down a couple of steps, intelligent of him.

Just as he starts to find his feet in the PL. Would be a miss for Pool im sure.

This is the same club that said they would be signing Lionel Messi. It's because both players have roots there. I'd be very, very suprised if he moved there this window - he'll most likely end up there one day though.
