Roma...Start of 2nd season

I finished 5th in league and won the champions league.
Have been given 28m to spend.
I signed Vukcevic and Kewell (dont ask why) in January window of first season.

I have Taiwo, Zabaleta, Ben Arfa coming in second season.

Not to sure where to strengthen. There are a lot of old players including Perrotta, Totti, Juan, Cassetti, Pizarro and Brighi. So will need replacements

Looking for a strong ball winning cm.
A decent backup striker for Borriello as Adriano is on to much wages.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Sven Bender is a quality ball winning midfielder and he's young too.

i Giallorossi's golden oldies are good for one more season, after that offer player-coach contacts to Perrotta, Cassetti and Er Pupone (Totti). Use the youth - Bertolacci is a good replacement for Perrotta - Florenzi is a good replacement for Pizarro or Brighi, Crescenzi is a good replacement for Cassetti.

I picked up Bocchetti for £7m from Rubin at the start of the second season (11.3 patch)

Try not to spend in the 2nd season. Use loans if you can.

Thanks for info. I finished 2nd season. Released Perrotta and Cassetti before the mention of coach contracts!
Sold Kewell and Ben Arfa.
Signed Hulk, Fellaini, Cabaye and Afellay.
Still got 30m to spend. Thinking a centre half?
