Romsey Town Takeover (BAP)

Romsey Town Chairman Ken Jacobs has today decided to sell his beloved club to a wealthy American businessman. The minnows who are affectionately known as 'The Town' ply their trade in the Wessex League. The club has never really set the world on fire throughout their exsistence and it seems that the clubs new owner Kai Mclean is looking to turn things around. Mclean who originates from the state of North Carolina has moved things along fast having already fired every staff member the club has and removing every player in the squad!

It's been announced in the Romsey Echo that the club is looking for a new manger, a new assistant manager, three first team coaches, a goalkeeping coach, a fitness coach and a physio. There will also be open trials in the coming days for any player aged between 16 and 19 to impress the new American owner.

Kai Mclean had this to say as he was exiting the clubs Bypass Ground...

"I wan't this club to start again... We have been floating around in.. I don't know what tier of football and I am here to ensure that as a club we progress to higher reaches. I see Romsey as a club which with my guidance and finances can push the limits and maybe even one day, after hard work and determintaion make into the top leagues. People have asked me why I bought Romsey. Well truthfully, I have been here a few times and it's a town which I love. I again would like to state that it's going to be a club with huge potential. We are holding open trials for any young player to play here. I hope that as all our players will be young, the club and the players can grow together building success."

The Daily Echo has the trial details along with hundreds of flyers which have been handed out all over the town. It's been reported that the club is looking for 25 players...

Kai Mclean has also stated that although he is looking for mainly English talent he is willing to allow exceptional foreign talent into the club but only 5 players. He is also willing to allow two players to be over 19 but below 25.

Mclean has already been authorised and allowed to change the clubs kit and it's main sponsors. With his contacts in the motoring industry it looks like he has really found the club a huge sponsor as it's been announced that 'The Town' will now and further be sponsored by no other than car manufacturing giants Porsche!

Hey guys... So if you could all fill in the template below... It will of course only be the first 25 who fill this in that I will be using.

I am only allowing 5 'Foreign' players as I want to keep this quite locally based.

Scotland, Wales, Ireland DON'T count as 'Foreign'

Only two players over 19 and below 25... First come first served if no one wants to be then fair enough.

I am thinking about even inserting your faces in the game! If you can get me a cutout of your face like the Cutout Megapack then I think that will make screenshots Awesome... Example below. (If any facemakers reading would anyone mind taking requests?)

I will only be taking realistic names. NO Ben Dover or Hugh Jass or anything that looks ridiculous. I want this to be realistic. If I feel a name is too silly then I will ask you to re-name your player. If you are in Coolmcool's FM Base game then please use a different name. As I made this i'm being naughty and keeping mine. lol

I will be making everyone with the ability to be a future star as to not stunt us or the club if we make it up the leagues!

I think that's it... Remember this is my first BAP game so please go easy on me it will take a while to set up and I will need to test things out. Advice and input is always welcome and the main thing is I've set this up for some fun... and to help my hometown club!

As RiotAct said, there have been a **** of a lot of BaPs pop up recently, but I like the idea of all being at one club and being managed by you. Something different.
