Hi guys im starting a Real Madrid save & was thinking of playing Ronaldo as a striker.What is the best way to play him eg Deep lying fwd,Poacher etc ???

Certainly wouldn't use him as a poacher....for me it's either deep lying or complete forward

he could do anything as he is pretty much the perfect footballer pysical and technicaly.
i would use him as complete forward but i wouldn't use him as a striker. u got higuain and benzema which both amazing. especially with ronaldo and contrao/di maria. if they are not enough get cavani. better then that would be aguero or messi probably...

I'd have in the hole (Treq) behind Benzema and Higuain.

He's actually pretty great as a deep lying or complete forward, and you can also put Benzema as an Inside Forward too (sounds wild, but kind of works)

definately a trequartista, in the tactic creater or player settings(click advanced) and just look at the role explanation--->that is just a perfect description to how ronaldo plays and what his atts suit also!!!!

I play him as poacher in FM 11 and he can't stop scoring although it sounds stupid (Benzema is out of my team) because he don't dribble a lot but just run onto the through ball and shot. But I think Adv forward is the best role for him as it lets him to roam and dribble. I don't think Treq will work as it won't let him to dribble and he is not creative.
