Something I've done as a bit of a personal project just to see if it was doable - and it was! It might not be for everyone but why not share it?

'Radlock' is a mod for Football Manager 2010 that provides a fully customizable PIN protection system to protect your game. It's ideal for those times when you wish to leave the game running and unattended but not have anyone mess with your save. This skin is intended as a demonstration of Radlock - it's designed to be added easily to ANY skin very simply as it's totally independent of other game files. All aspects of it are fully skinnable so it can be adapted to suit a skin's particular style. Radlock does not use any special code and has been built using skinning techniques alone.

I've released it as a demo skin with the required files within it.

Unzip the file and read the README.txt for details.

This is not my work, it was my by radestock on www.sortitoutsi.net

It's easy to add to any skin, I've done it so it can't be hard. READ THE 'README' file, when you extract. That will tell you everything you need to know.

A bit useless IMO. I just lock (Windows key + L) my computer. Achieves exactly the same thing.

That's your opinion, but what if say somebody wants to use the PC, and you don't want them to do anything to the game? You can just lock the game, saves locking your PC.

Also, people have had trouble with family members deleting save games, locking FM will stop this from happening.

Save & Close FM. What's to stop someone just closing FM when you have it Radlocked? How does Radlocking your game stop someone from deleting your save files?

Not knocking the work the guy has put in, hopefully it will lead to other people coming up with some useful ingame tools though. Sadly this seems to be a solution to a problem that just isn't there.

Well, some people may find it useful, some may not. Either way I'd thought I'd share it.

Isn't there already an option to have a password on it anyway, so just save it and use the password :S

The guy spent a lot of time on this probs and should be given credit maybe some older PC's run slowly and you cant switch user so you use radlock so you dont have to close FM down so someone else can use the pc.

Yes, I said it was my opinion. IMO = In My Opinion :S

NOBODY else uses my computer. If they did, I would have to kill them :P
Its like somebody else using your toothbrush... :@

Why would a skin stop family members (accidentally) deleting save games?

Good idea
Although I have a lot more troubling stuff on my laptop to protect rather than FM...
