? A bit more detail please about your problem because it isn't clear. The runs from deep part is confusing you how?

I mean when u set the run from deep slider in player instruction how does it influence advance players like strikers,wingers and attacking midfielders movement relative to the closing down slider instruction they have been given.

The frequence in wich the players make runs past their man. The setting + mentality gives this tendency. If à player has made this run, well its bound to effect his ability to close down à player from à good defensive position if he is 40 yards to high up in the pitch when the AI breaks up the attack.
