Running out of ideas....

Hi, I am in my third season with Leeds United. First season, got to playoffs of Championships and got beat in Semi's, second season, won the championship comfortably. This season, after having spent nearly £15m on new players and after declaring I would finish mid table, I am struggling! I seem to be leaking goals left, right and centre after only letting in 19 in the whole Championship season last year! Below is my squad (don't know how to display it any other way I'm afraid) I also have Conor Clifford, who doesn't appear to be showing in my squad.

Compared to other Prem sides, I think it squares up quite nicely. I have being playing Alex McCarthy rather than Lonergan but thought I'd give him a try. I've tried all different formations and tactics, 4-1-2-2-1, 4-2-2-2, 4-4-2, 5-4-1, you name it, I've tried it! Has anyone got any suggestions or tips? Bear in mind I'm in 3rd season, so players like Bennett, Cairney, Griffiths etc have developed a fair bit.

How far are you into your season mate? Also do you have any Parent clubs that you could tap into for some players and have you taken the time to make/develop a 2/3 tactics to use when your expecting a win/loss.

Played about 12 games and only won 1, its just very frustrating because I know that with the players I have I should be doing much better!

time for a change, first off at ur tactics. play a very deep d-line, and a controlled game. and u want to have ur players control as much possession u can, then go for goal at the same time, whilst not leaking in goals too. if u feel u have a weak link in ur squad, sell him, and get a better replacement. field in ur best players ur have,and intend to build on that later on the transfer windows.
