Ok so I've started a journeyman save and got the Wigan job, The chairman mentioned one of the conditions was not to apply for other jobs. well I lead them to the championship; Then applied for the Norwich (just relegated job) bag! p45 in the post.

This isn't a moan but wow has this happened to anyone else? annoyed as Wigan were 3rd after 10 games in the Championship

If you get told you can't do something and you do it then you are always running the risk of getting sacked mate :P It's pretty harsh still though

I understand I broke the conditions, but my post is more to the point i've never had this before - Also how would they know I applied?

Just like real life press leaks etc happen on the game, they don't always find out, but quite often they do

In the same save I was sacked by Southampton with the team 5th in the Premier League because the new board of directors wanted to appoint their own manager. Then, taking on a freshly relegated Everton, I had them top of the Championship, 4 points clear at exactly half way through the season, and the same thing happened again. And to add insult to injury, my replacement Frank Lampard took them down to 3rd place and lost the play-off final! I wouldn't mind but I was really enjoying the football I was seeing from my Everton team, which featured several young players, and I had a transfer kitty of £44 million due to the fire sale that followed relegation.
