Salamanca - Sleeping giants? My first story

Hi all,
I have been an avid follower of the stories on here and have been playing FM for a while now. Finally, I have decided to try my hand at making my first story. I am South African, so naturally have a love for football (soccer) and can't wait for the World Cup. Have tickets for Portugal vs Brazil so football is all I can think about now, so hence the need to make a story.

I have chosen Salamanca as my first club, they play in Liga Adelante and have no real history to speak of. I have always liked this club, I think the reason being that one of my all time favourite players (PAULETA) Started his career there.

Can some one please explain to me how to post scrrenshots (sorry I am newbie at this). I have taken screenshots and uploaded them on imageshack, but when I try upload file from URL it gives me invalid file. Is there a better/easier way or better image host??

So for now I will just have to type out any info.

The media predict us 11th, it is going to be a tough season, but there are some decent players in the squad (mainly upfront), so I think we can get a top 8 finish.

I hope some will follow this story, I really want to make it a long and successful one, just need help with posting screenshots.

So far a great start. Our only lose being away to Socidad (2-3). Will have to see how long we can keep this up....!

SEASON ROUND UP

Well its been a great season, we scored the 2nd most goals and finished 2nd overall. I would of been happy with top 8, so getting promoted so soon is brilliant...but maybe it's too soon. I think we will really struggle next season. Especially as we did not perform well towards the end of the season (only 16/30 points). See the thumbnails for league table and squad stats.

Our best player by far, was Ander Murillo (on loan from A.Bilbao), with 14 goals and an avg rating of 7.68, brilliant stuff from a central defender. But this shows that our front men dissapointed this season. First time ever that I have had a defender as my top scorer!!!:O

I am really nervous about next season, the likes of Barcelona, Real & Atletico are going to run circles around us. We will have to perform above ourselves to survive.

Ok so Season 2 has got underway. Its going to be a long tough season. I just hope we can stay up, but early signs aren't promising!!

Media wise we are expected to finish 20th, stone last, not a good sigh really. We definately need to strengthen in the market.

Transfers:
We signed a lot of experience players on free (Morientes, Pernia, Pablo Garcia), to add to my young squad and to hopefully mentor some of the guys. The transfers that I am really excited about are Kakuta, who I snapped up for free, as well as solid defender Milan stepanov for 325k from Porto a real bargain!! We definately needed a better keeper and more firepower up front. I signed Argentine keeper Cristian Lucchetti for 2.2m, I hope this pays off as It is seen as a gamble by fans. Then I signed a name I'm sure you are all familiar with, Alipio from R.Madrid. I basically blew what was left of the budget and had to pay 4.6m. It is expensive, but I am sure he will develop into a world class player (Well he better...).
