Saved game could not load

I'm a season and a bit into one of my games. I went to load it this morning and it says the save game could not be loaded. Anybody know why? I've tried several times ad nothing, it's so frustrating!! I know i'm not the only one it's happened to either as my friend was just 3 games into his save when the same thing happened.

Same thing has happened to me twice in the last week.
