I have to admit that I have done it. What do you guys think about it?

One time I've been losing 3-0 to a small team in the first half, then I thought "bull****", then I closed the game, then re-opened it, and then won the match easily. Just couldn't accept that result.

To each his own. Its a game and everybody is entitled to play it the way they want.

I'd like to hear what other people do about it though, if only I have ever done it etc.

In past versions I used to do it but quickly found out it ruined my experience so the last few versions I play it as realistically as possible. One thing I do now is if I play a game and it crashes I reload it and must get the same result (not scoreline) as before so its fair. I wouldn't necessarily call it 'cheating' as you're not exactly gaining an advantage just by reloading but its not very realistic.
Completely acceptable in a fun sort of save where you're testing tactics etc.

Each to their own.

Play the game how you want to play it.

Cheating implies that someone else is getting the rough end of the stick. I've never really understood while people freak out over what people choose to do in a single player game.

if you think it's cheating, it's cheating.
If you don't think it's cheating, it's not cheating.

The fact of the matter is that there's only one who has any say in what happens is you. Do what you want and screw everyone else's opinion.

I do it, from time to time, when im in champions league final, with shot 30 times, 28 in target, 5 woods, 10 CCCs and in the 90+5 they score from a corner...

I know it can happen, but this year it happens every 3 gamers, which aren't realistic odds

If no one knows it's not cheating :P

I'm guilty of doing it whenever I purchase the game, in order to get a feel of the game and how to win. Then I go on to make a new long-term save.

I only do it in big games like cup finals or deciding matches, i done it in my first season as Southampton i had to win my last game to get champions league but its just up to the user really.

I do it from time to time but only when lose like 3-0 against a bottom team when I've got like 60% pos and 20+ shots and they had like 5. That's just not realistic.

This is my view as well. Personally, I do consider reloading just to get a better result cheating and I could never continue a save if I did that but as long as you aren't playing with other human managers, then you should feel free to do whatever you want. This game can be very frustrating at times so I can kind of understand why people would save and reload but I would never do it.

It happens fairly regular so it is certainly realistic.
I personally don't do it, but what others decide to do with their save is their choice. Its offline and doesn't effect anyone else

Save important matches if only for the possibility of crashes...

Play the game how you like but of course it is cheating. (6)

This. Of course it's cheating, but you've paid for the game, play it how you want.

And don't boast about your results/competition wins if you've done it!

Couldn't play my save if I had cheated it like that, horrific.

I've been guilty to it a couple of times when I first started playing as I just did it for instant success without actually accomplishing anything, like I used to replay play off finals in the championship because if I lost I would've just lost interest in doing another year in championship.

Now it's different I would lose interest if I reloaded as for some reason I'd feel guilty so I would have to start a new game.

But no I don't think it's cheating play the game however you want to play, it's not gonna affect anyone else if it's single player so why should anyone judge you on your own save

I have changed my mind.

I'm happy that I'm still in the second season and never won any titles using this "tactic" so far, so there is still time to go on without the need to do it (I hope the 3 points won't matter in the end of the season as I'm winning everything naturally now).

I would rather DIE than do that willingly. If the game is too hard don't play :)
