Eredivisie side sc Heerenveen have today appointed unknown Englishman Tom Jones as their new manager. The livelong Liverpool fan has said that he hopes to win qualify for the Champions league in his first season, and would ideally like a good run in the Europa League. Fan forums across the country have reacted furiously to the appointment, claiming that Jones had done nothing to merit being given such a huge job. Jones will surely be fighting for his life from his very first match.
