I've been at work all day so I've just summed my first season, finished 3rd with bayern winning the league and Dortmund second and then I was 8points behind.
Im thinking of selling Jefferson farfan but I'm struggling to find an out and out winger to replace him.
ive got a transfer budget of 18million
im im looking to improve
goalkeeper
left back/ right back
maybe central midfield
and I'm looking for a lot of young German players for the future
help please
I sold Farfan right at the start in my 1st season, he's mediocre on high wages. Plus Chelsea are happy to pay around 30 Million for him straight off the bat, so you can secure your finances plus re-invest in the squad. Honestly Clemens performs very well for me on the right wing, 7+ every game and chipping in with goals and assists, must have a good Consistency stat. An ideal german right winger is obviously Reus, but good luck getting him. Take a look at Patrick Herrman, though he's quite similar to Clemens.
I had the same problem as you, couldn't find a player I liked/wanted to play on the right wing, I just stuck it out with Clemens/Meyer rotating until I found a regen who could easily be the next Ronaldo.
GK to look at - Casteels, Kraft, Trapp, Ter Stegen (Expensive), Valdes on a free. One of the various french GK's that get are without a club after first season.
LB/RB - Sakai, Ricardo Rodriguez, Sebastien Corchia, Montoya
CM - Milan Badelj, Lucas Romero, Andre Martins, Lerin Duarte.
Some of those are fairly expensive. Also depending on if they've moved in the previous windows they may be unavailable. I also sold Huntelaar at the end of the 1st season for 14 Million to Real Madrid as I couldn't get him regularly scoring, bought Mitrovic for 8.5 Million and he's been incredible. Another option might be Kolbein Sigborsson from Ajax, always scored goals in my saves and shouldn't cost much. Good Luck.
