Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes leaves the door open to continuing his playing career beyond next season.

Legendary. He's still going at the age of 35.

Like they say "You can never keep a good dog down"

...or something like that.

Lol at this extract from Wikipedia:

Scholes, who rarely gives interviews, once described his ideal day as "Train in the morning, pick up the kids from school, play with them, have tea, get them to bed and then watch a bit of TV."

he is abit of a legend, youngsters could learn a **** of a lot from him.

This is bad news for United if true, it will give Fergie another excuse not to sign the replacement that we have needed for the last 2 or 3 years.

no its good news if he can keep playing well, gives more time to replace him, there are not many players in the world capable of replacing scholes, and we're not flush for cash, gives us time with anderson this season

Its unlikely that Anderson will push on this season, he is out till November with a serious injury and he couldn't get a game last season before the injury. The only solution to the Scholes position is a high quality transfer, if Fergie thinks anything different then he is mistaken.

Transfer muppet? Longer Scholes stays, better for us. Younger generation needs to learn a lot from him. Scholes plays well, United are at their best, If not we look rusty. Dont look the ****** age, his last season was better than lot of people thinks.

Anderson is still young, look at Nani now.He was also injured and couldn't get a game ;)

once again youve prove you know little about united, he was one of our better players last season, and its very hard to replace a player like scholes, anderson will be back in september, not october, and if nani can turn it around so can anderson, was about got a run in the team but got injured in his first game back in the side, or didnt you know this?

He's 22, not that young lol
midfielders dont hit their peak till about 26,

I think he should retire now. Let the young ones come through.

I remember Anderson could not get a game for love nor money in the first half of last season, he ended up playing for the reserves on a few occasions to get match fitness back because he hadn't played for so long lol. Then he dissapeared to Brazil without permission for a holiday in the middle of the season, which did not do his relationship with the manager much good. Then on his first game back after dissapearing to Brazil he got that injury, so lets not let the injury cloud the fact that he was very poor last season.

you mean anderson, who isnt quite ready and is injured still. and who are they gonna learn from but him. he was one of our best players last season, people have been say hes tool old for about 4 years yet he has good season after good season. when he finally has a poor one im sure he'll cal it a day. until then why should he retire

he was average last season like a lot of our squad, like nani got frustrated and did things he should have dont, but unlike nani didnt get the chance to bounce back because of injury.

for someone who "supports" united all you ever do is slag them off, you never have anything good to say, go back to supporting arsenal

Old Experience- Darren Keane Fletcher
Now- Nani
Tomorrow- Anderson Just wait and see.

If you think signing 30M player satisfies you, you can jump the ship and support city as you did from ArsenalXD
