Chelsea announce the shock dismissal of manager Luiz Felipe Scolari with immediate effect, after just seven months in charge.

Im sorry to hear this,i liked the guy.Wonder if he fancies southgates job.

he deserved to go...chelsea weren't suited to that formation

Scolari is class. Chelsea have none. I'm trying to stop laughing but I can't help it. My missus is absolutely confused (she's a Chelsea supporter) and is getting very angry with me. But I just can't help it - sack Scolari after 7 months when the problem has been the overpaid, aging squad not performing?! They're in 3rd position not 13th. Crazy, crazy fun :D

The funniest thing of all is that Avram Grant in on the short list to replace him.Football is a funny old game as Greavsie says.

he is a good manager, but it just didnt suit chelsea's style.

he tried to play like brazil but he got mixed up becasue he had kalou, ballack, anelka, malouda(flop), mikel instead of kaka, ronaldinho, robinho, diego, pato.

he completely destroyed chelsea's home recond which they were proud of. but now they even struggle to score at bridge anymore

that just shows you how the premier league is soo different to any other league.

Yeh I dont think you can fully blame big phul.

Limited resources and all his big players are CM's. Essien and Drogba being injured hasnt helped him either. Signing Quersma seemed to be a step in the right direction but obviously he hasnt been given more of a chance to possibly change the current system.

Ah well at least he'll have finally gotten a payday in his long career as a manager

Agreed Gatid,

Chelsea also lacked the flair of the Brazilian side, which Scolari is obviously more suited too. Signing Quaresma was the best idea he'd had all season, Chelsea need a player like that. Let's see who gets put in charge now and see how they get on

I would LOL if Grant went back. that boring ****

Ooooof. Roman might as well be a chairman in Italy or Spain the way he's going through bosses now.

Again, Scolari should have been given longer, like Greg said signing Quarsema was maybe a sign of changing things. Scolari maybe wasn't suited to day to day management with such pressure but he still wasn't doing bad. Although the timing makes sense in a way because now there is a lot of time for a new boss to try and change things for the better this season.

I'd like to think Zola will stay at Wham, and apparently Hiddink is gona stay with Russia which doesn't surprise me either.

And Chelsea's next game-Villa. Boom. Here's for hoping Villa take the points and Chelsea become a proper crisis club.

haha chelsea lost their record.. haha
there so pathetic there is no loyalty at that club, lampard nearly left over a contract, avram grant even though he was always meant to be temporary he took the title to the 2nd last day and a championsleague final so if he comes back the y might do ok..but most probably dodgy
