Craig Levein has resigned as Scotland manager because he is bored and wants day to day football. The Favourites for the job are Graeme Souness, Kenny Dalglish and surprisingly Peter Houston, The SFA have hinted at a surprise appointment and at 3pm today the new manager will be announced.

3PM 7th July 2009
At a press conference in Hampden Park, The SFA have annouced that the new Scotland manager is ..... David Hart. An unknown unexperianced manager who is a former East Stirling youth coach.
At the Conference David Hart said
"I am proud and honoured to be the manager of my nations football team and will thrive under the pressures that come with the job. I hope to take Scotland to an all time high and take them to future glory"

Everyone in Scotland is shocked by the appointment, only time will tell

Honestly, I thought this as going to be a Jason Scotland topic. However, I'm going to follow this intently. Good luck :)

Good luck mate, couldn't have started this at a more appropriate time ^^)

David Hart is leaving his home in Castlemilk and approached by a group of reporters.
" Mr Hart, do you believe you can overcome the odds and take Scotland to the playoffs of the world cup?"

"it will be hard as Holland have already qualified and the last three games will be hard but i believe we can do it"

This is my first story and i need help. I know how to take screenshots but how do i post them

On the reply button, there is a paper clip. Click that and look for your screenshots [normally in My Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2010 > screenshots] and upload them. Then click the paper clip again when you've uploaded them and insert them where you need to. :)

Unlucky about Ferguson, but hopefully you've got a good enough team to get you through the group stages into the Playoffs =]

July Round up:

If you can get 3 solid wins, then you'll be in the playoffs for sure.

Tuesday 4th August
David Hart has tough choices to make for his squad for the vital world cup qualifier against norway.
Craig Gordon and Allan McGregor are both doubtful while Stephen McManus, Barry Robson and Garry Naysmith will definitely miss out.

Wednesday 5th August
The Scotland Squad has been announced today with 5 players who can make their debut against Norway.
David Harts team cannot afford to lose or it is nearly impossible.

Holland aren't too bad to beat, actually, against me they used to squeeze out a 1-0 win. However, good luck against Norway and Macedonia :)

We have to beat macedonia and get a win against Holland to have some kind of chance at playoffs.
