It was announced today that after a dissapointing run in the World Cup Qualifiers George Burnley has been sacked by the SFA. Gary Bernard has been selected to try and restore pride in the few remaining World cup qualifying games and to hopefully qualify for Euro 2012 in Ukraine and Poland.

Gary Bernard realeases press statment telling fans he hopes to win two of the three remaining world cup campaing matches and hopefully build confidence to take into the Euro's. He also conceded his team had very little chance of qualifying for the World Cup this time.

New scotland boss has asked Allan McGregor, Lee McCulloch and Barry Ferguson to reconsider there international retirement decision.
Just three hours later all three players had turned down Bernards offer. This will be a big blow to Bernards plans.
