I am a Scotsman and im thoroughly unimpressed by how my countrymen act. Scotsmen are under the impression we are arch-rivals with England. But i would like to ask Englishmen, who do you consider to be your "arch-rivals!" If it is Scotland, do they always go on about a hatred of Scotland?:D
 
Germany or Argentina then Scotland, but Scotland aren't good enough to put up a decent game :P lookin at the germany game though we where as bad as scotland
 
Germany for sure, then Argentina. Shame they are both far superior to us. Would be better for our egos if our biggest rivals were Scotland :(
 
Germany. Don't even mind Scotland if they went further than us in a tournament I'd even support them.

England obviously are too good to bother themselves with Scotland. But would you like an annual Rivalry game again?

i wouldnt say too good. better yes, but not too good.

i would love to have annual game back, im looking forward to the fact the we get to play wales in our qualifying group. i think we dont play the home nations enough
 
Its just a thing about history I think, I have no hatred for England I have loads of family from their, Just dont like the England National team and their over-hyping and how boring their are to watch sometimes
 
Us Scots are dying for a game to possibly win against England. How many English remember 1967, what happened??

Ano, but the fact they were world champions was far more of an achievement. Neall is right, us scots need a real story of triumph like England:'(

Why would you get banned for it ? Only talking about what team England's have a rivialry with?

Alri sorry then mate thought you were trying to make a tick out of him when he was only joking about the match after the World Cup
 
Can i say though, this is not quite an argument, more a general discussion. I think every comment has been at worst reasonably mature, and there has been no real teasing, just banter. What exactly did you get banned for and how long? I hope the admin views this as just a friendly chat between supporters!
 
Given that Levein is trying to make us pull out of the Celtic Cup, I'd say there's nowt chance of any annual rivalry game coming back!

The "ABE" stuff depresses me. The fact is, some Scots actually watch more England games than Scotland games, and will be happier with an England loss than a Scotland win.
 
Like the comments, thats all i was wondering, mainly because of the ABE stuff. Thats a load of rubbish and i was sad to see England fail. Although I would not wish for them to win the WC, I dont like to see them being insulted in the media.
