Just wondering if the new pyramid system that is coming into place next season in Scotland is going to be in the game? (the side that finishes bottom in div 3 gets relegated and two non-league sides play off to take their place)

Has anyone zoomed through a season in Scotland yet? If so can you see if the provisional relegation place is there?

Would be a nice little touch to have it in this years game - would love to manage a Highland League side in the Champions League!!!!!

I dont think it is in the game which is a pity as my hometown side play in the highland league although i'll test it out just in case

Nope it's not in the game i just simmed a season :( I was planning on editing my local side in if it wasent though

I don't think it's even official in Scotland yet, is it? The Central League hasn't been created yet?

It has. There is the Highland League and Lowland league right now IRL.

So how is it supposed to work? The winners of the lowland league and highland play in a play off then THAT winner plays the bottom side in League 2?

I think so, either that or the winner of the Highland/Lowland playoff goes straight up and the bottom side in League 2 goes straight down. Only problem is the Highland League isn't convinced that some of its clubs even want to go up. There is also normally a huge buildup of unplayed fixtures by the end of the season due to awful highland weather so they are not sure if they'll be ready in time for a playoff.

There's no doubt that the teams aren't good enough - only 20 or so years ago, Ross County and Inverness were both in the Highland League, last season they finished 4th and 5th in the SPL.

Edit: Inverness were actually two different clubs but merged to be accepted into the SFL

Hmm thats a pity. I work in Inverurie and know a few of the Inverurie Locos Works players aswell as a few of the Formartine United ones so that would have been pretty cool to play with them.

Why not just edit them into the game? Thats what i plan to do with Fraserburgh

It's not confirmed in Scotland yet, which is why they decided to add a playoff this year to the topflight, so they can visit the league reconstruction next year.

It's not a playable league but after the first season the playoff between league two is there, yes.

Its going to be really easy to edit them into the game with the new editor it should pretty much just be a case of ticking a box and making the two leagues playable

It works on every league (playout/playoffs etc) bar the non league - league 2.. I had a Dundee derby for the SPL playoff..

Does anyone know how to implement this into the Editor so you can take a HFL club into the SPFL? in the nation rules there is already a league that comes under "Highland-Lowland League" but I don't know if this is the league or just the play-off itself

Ive been trying to do this aswell but cant get it to work! :(

It's a nightmare, been trying to do it by removing Nation Rules then re-adding them but unsure of what exactly to do. Was planning on taking Fraserburgh from HFL to SPL or even add the local amateur league and bring them up lol

Haha thats exactly what i'm trying to do! how weird lol

The Lowland league has twelve teams, most of them useless. There's no way to promote into that division, or the Highland league, by the looks of it. The Scottish league could be edited to make that happen, but the Editor is now so **** complex I'm scared to touch the league rules.
