Breaking News

The SFA have today announced that after a bust up with every chairman of the 42 teams in the scottish leagues, every club from the to the SPL to the Scottish Third Division have been removed from the leagues and have been replaced by junior clubs. This has shocked the footballing world knowing that now, starting from the 2010/2011 season, Celtic,Rangers,etc will not take part in the Scottish Cup,League Cup and European competitions.Even though the clubs mentioned above will take part in the Scottish Cup this season they will not take part in any of the other competition except from the clubs which have qualified for the 2009/10 Champions League and Europa League.Now that all the usual clubs have been removed and have been replaced by junior clubs these junior clubs will have a lot to live up to.The new leagues are as follows-

Linlithgow Rose have appointed Daza Sneddon as their new manager after David Baikie resigned after the club were put into the SPL.Sneddon ,who was capped 52 times for Scotland scoring 2 goals, said ''I am deleighted to be the manager at Prestonfield.I came here as a young boy with my uncle and two cousins to watch The Rose and it is a dream come true to be the man who is calling the shots now.'' When asked what he thought about the new format he said ''I am shocked but deleighted because I probaly wouldn't be here if it didn't change.My aim is to make Linlithgow a dominant force in Scotland and Europe.''
