Scout reports

Hello everyone,

I just want to ask a question but please dont shout at me if I have the wrong forum!

I wish to start a new save game but i want to try only signing players my scout reccomends,
so when do i go ahaead and sign a player, if he is fairly good or higher? Or by how many stars
he gets in the report?

I'm going to go on c.a and just want to test how well I can get on with this approach.

Don't look at stars, that's a relative rating. Look at their stats, and whether they fit your tactics, even among players your scouts recommend. Pay more heed to their weaknesses in the scout report.

Take 2.5 stars as the sort of average mark of your team, realistically you'll only want to be signing players that are 3+ with a few small exceptions to go right into the first team.
Make sure you use more than just the star rating though, look at his attributes and what type of player he's going to be.

I want to rely on stars, i'm only doing a test save and going to go purely on scout reports c.a rating,
just need to know weather to go on stars or what they say e.g would be a good singing, fairly good
signing.

I did think 3 stars would be acceptable, when searching for players i have set what i want attributes wise
for each posistion but how far down do i go? 7? i'm going to start skrill north/south.
