I am slightly confused about scouting in lower leagues . Why when i scout a player in the Top divisions while under control of a top team do i get all there stats come up , But when i scout players with my lower league team with a scout with half decent stats i barely get any stats worth being able to judge somebody on which makes it near impossible to see if they are worth getting . ( I play with attribute masking on )

I think this is by design and a good design. Simply put, in real life, even if you have decent scouts, lower league teams can't really afford to spend lots of resources on scouting, so your scouts can't travel to a lot of games, or there isn't much recording of the players playing etc. It is really difficult to do wide range scouting as a small team even widen your own country. Basically, it is difficult to have the resources to source sufficient information as a "poorer" team. As a result, it takes a really long time to make a final judgement on a player's attributes.

My "partial" solution: I limit the number of assignments my scouts have to 3-4 players each. I make sure as soon as I see stats I don't like I immediately cancel that assignment. The less assignments they have, the faster they produce results. Also, if the player is not playing regularly, they take really long to get information. Lastly, depending on the league etc. I offer 4 week trials to almost every player I want to scout and if they accept, I don't need to use a scout as their stats are revealed after about 2 weeks @ the club.

I know its tough, but it makes lower league management so much more realistic as you never really know what you will get and often have to gamble (within reason of course). I have made some great signings and some major flops by hitting the offer button before having a final attributes!

Good luck!

The was also a glitch on the previous patch where all stats showed up on the first scouting. Maybe you were playing with the top team on the old patch and the lower ones on the new patch?

In any case, it should take time to gain knowledge on a player. You should have to scout them for weeks/months to get full knowledge.

No i am pretty sure you can get all the stats up or most of them after the first scout report with a top team .

I assumed i was doing something wrong tbf but if this is the way the game is then fairplay it is realistic.

thanks.
