screen freezing?

well i stopped playing fm2009 for a while due to lack of time.. game ran fine then.. but now when i try to play it again im getting some weird screen freeze (not the one when match starts), it actually happens randomly after a few minutes of starting the game (sometimes even jsut at the main menu) the screen actually freezes but the game doesnt stop running (it still responds) and its like if the screen changed (like when i clicked a player for example) but it doesnt refresh, like if all the buttons were there (mouse turning into a hand when i put my mouse over them) but the screen is the same.. any ideas of what can be causing this?

You probably have a terrible computer; like me. :S.

Maybe try updating your graphics card driver.

well this may sound weird but turning firefox off fixed it

then your ram isnt enough pr your registry files are full sh*t

err my bad, i meant turning xfire off.. its something weird my game has with xfire.. before it also had some weird signs and i had to close xfire for them to disappear too..
