Read the tittle :)

My main team (stars at bold):

DC: Thomas Vermaelen, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny
DLR: Darijo Srna (insane at right, can play left), Bacary Sagna (plays left, adapted), Cristian Ansaldi (backup, both sides)

MC: Arturo Vidal (insane), Alex Song, Aron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta (will probably sell)

AM: Willian (insane C or L), Walcott (insane R, a bit weak at L), Andrei Arshavin, James Rodriguez (mostly C, adapting to L then R), Gervinho (want to sell, I bought James Rodriguez for 6M which is at similar level and lower age than Gervinho, so selling Gervinho will give me a lot of money without loosing anything.)

PL: Seydou Doumbia (completly insane), Robin van Persie (kind of weak, but still captain, tutoring, great at hard games and loved by Arsenal fans so I'll keep it, or shouldn't I?).

Youngesters I want to develop: Chamberlain, Willshire, Ramsey, Oliver Markoutz (this guy will be insane and is left footed so he will combine very well with Doumbia).

Tactics I play: 4-2-3-1 (MC, MC, AML, AMC, AMR) and 4-4-2 with Wingers (MC, MC, AML, AMR). Both with a lot of trough balls!

What I'm looking at:
- Replacement for Srna (Jose Angel is at 37M€ so too expensive for his value, and I couldn't find any other players at Srna/Angel level except for players on rival clubs or Marcelo/Coentrao which are impossible to buy).
- An insane AML (Willian is insane, but even more insane in the center). I want Gotze since the start of the game but I don't think I have enough money yet. Other options with good value for money and still insane?
- An insane MC (not really sure if I should just wait for Ramsey to evolve).
- An insane left footed striker (Rossi the best left footed option I found out on the market, but I still think 45M is too much for him. I can still wait for Oliver to evolve but it's still very hard when Doumbia is injured, which is rare, but very bad when it happens. Messi is exactly the player I wanted but yeah, no point thinking about it lol)

TL/DR: I'm full of money (90M€ with some players still waiting to sell), my squad is still complete for 1 season and I have no idea what to do with my money. BUT, I still want good deals (value/money)!

Give me your tips!

For Srna replacement, get Cesar azpilicueta.Absolute beast, and relatively young I believe. Got him in my Arsenal save, and he got an average rating of 7.30+ at the end of the season.

Wait for Ramsey to evolve (as he becomes top notch), but also buy a new cm, as arteta is simply average and not attacking enough. Nobody is above Javier Pastore. Though he is a natural AMC, he can play also as a cm, and soon, with training, he can become natural in the cm position. However, he is hard to get, and will cost you at least 35 mil pounds. I managed to snap him up in my arsenal save, and he became the best cm in England for 10 years, getting average ratings of well over 7.50. (I'm in the year 2022)

If you cannot get Pastore, go for perisic. He plays for dortmund. He's a through and through beast. Very attacking. He plays amazing as a cm. He has a finishing stat of 17, and, in my dortmund save, he scores like a mother, averaging almost a goal a game. Best part about him is that he is only 22 at the beginning of the game, and has a market value of 3.7 mil pounds only, so should be cheap to get.

Also, rvp is a good enough striker to start, you justt need to play him right. I had him scoring 85 goals in one season, with an average rating of 8.70+

And if you need a backup striker, look at Carlos Fierro. Can get him for under 2 mil pounds, and grows to become an amazing striker. Got him scoring 50+ goals a season, when rvp retired. He is probably the best value for money player in the game. Grows into an absolute monster of a player, though he is right footed.

Thank you for your post. Yes I agree I need another MC, but it's a bit hard to find good deals. Here's what I got till now:

Witsel (Benfica, 24 years) - 15M€ - I'm a bit afraid of his 3 stars from Cagigao report, but this usually changes when players join a bigger club. Anyone has any opinions on Witsel's development?
Marek Hamsik (Napoli, 26 years) - 32M€ - He has impressive stats BUT he has a work rate of 11 and a determination of 13, so I'm a bit afraid. Any opinions on him?
Javier Pastore (PSG, 24 years) - 90M€+ !!!!! - Yeah probably not... too bad he is really impressive.

Any opinions?
@ mods - if I shouldn't post this in this thread I can move to the "Good Deal" thread :S

I could never get Ramsey to play on decent level, despite the fact he had -10 PA.

Ganso (Santos, 23 years) - 54M€ - Pretty good, but a bit expensive. My favorite choice till now.

Who would you pick?

Check out Javi Martinez , you can usually get him for around 30million

Ganso gets injuried every 3 minutes , do not.

Marvin Martin (25 years) - 39M€ - Good but a bit too expensive

Removed: Witsel (too weak) and Pastore (too expensive).

What I want: Best value for money. Consistency.

For Javi Martinez, I wanted him when I got Vidal, but now I'm looking for a more attacking MC instead of a defensive one. And is Ganso that injury prone?! Wasn't expecting that :S

Cast your votes :D

For a top quality attacking/creative CM check Andrea Poli, great deep lying playmaker. You could also check if Jose Campana has developed, he's often free after a season.

Forget all them, pastore is best but like u said too expensive. Eriksen is best bet, total beast, also kovacic, shocking nobody has mentoined him either. P.s. plz dont use the term "insane" so many times in a thread, its annoying.

Thank goodness you took Witsel out of the equation. Probably the worst £20M I ever spent in the game. Was an absolute disaster in my Tottenham save, and failed at every opportunity to make an impact. Ended up selling him for £9M the next year as all he was doing was eating up my wage budget. You dodged a bullet there!

Out of the players you have listed, Marvin Martin is no doubt the best value for money. I've only bought him in one save, and I didn't get to see him play much as I soon discontinued the save after hours of work lost in a crash. But what I have seen of him, I have liked. A pure class, young midfielder who would be an addition to any team. Worth the money, but if you are tripping on the price, I repeat my recommendation of Perisic. Most crucial stats are identical to Hamsik's, and you can get him for a fraction of the price. Amazingly cheap and consistent. In my Dortmund save he has bagged something like 14 goals in his last 20 games. For a CM, that is insane. You won't find a better goal-scoring CM on the market for his price.
And though he is a natural AMC, he plays great as a CM, and can become a natural in that position very soon, with training.

Hamsik is all style and no substance; on paper his technical stats are incredible but I keeper hearing of his lack of contribution towards goals and assists in people's saves so in that respect, NO DEAL! Martin and Ganso are both ridiculously expensive so NO DEAL for them.

Gonna suggest a host of players here so feel free to deflect a ton of them:

Barkley (Everton) is sometimes neglected in the first few seasons, can be picked up on the cheap and turns into an absolute midfield maestro along side Wilshere (would be like having England's next Gerrard + Lampard together).
The same applies to Pogba (Man United) where he gets neglected, transfer listed at thereabouts for a few million and turns into an similar mould of Patrick Viera with incredible technical, mental and physical attributes.
Alaba (Bayern Munich) is a great player and may be a longer term solution. He should be pretty darn good at your point now and should be available for around £20 million. I would buy him tbh. He has great all round stats, can play across the fullback, midfield and wings and has a natural fitness of 19/20 so goes onto 34 y/o without having lost many stats!
Bertolacci (Roma) and Poli (Sampdoria) turn into two golden box-to-box midfield Italians however they reach first-team football at big clubs quite early on. I would check them out as they should be close to world-class at 23 y/o (even at 3 seasons in)!

Those are just a few at the top of my head!
