Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish questions the wisdom of starting the new season three days after a round of international matches.

Didn't Wenger do this a while back and people were complaining about him for moaning? -_-

***** n moan ***** n moan always some manager complain about this every season

Kinda hard for the players sure, but you can easily just give them a rest.
Simple.

The international managers won't because they don't care about the clubs, and the club managers won't because it's the first game.

He just needs to deal with it like every other manager will. Internationals are important, not for club teams ok but for players and nations they are.

If we play a 'smaller' team though, they're gonna be a lot fresher than us, but we're in the same boat as any other 'big' side so we have to get on with it. :)

Get over it kenny, FFS they going to play games 3 days after each other, throughout the season, at least there be fresh from a summer break, Moany ****

Thought i give you all the moan, that you wanted to see. ;)

If you read what Kenny said, it's that there's an international, then the opening match of the PL, and then a week off. He's saying why not have the international, and then move the PL game to the week off instead so that players have time to recover from travelling (if over long distances) and the teams have time to prepare properly just before the first league match.

Because that requires common sense...
