Second season, championship strugglers

can anybody recommend some players? i somehow got promoted from league 1 with bradford in my first season, and their rep isnt exactly brilliant, and their transfer budget/wage budget also isnt ideal

i mainly need defenders, the rest of my team im happy with to try and become a secure championship side, and hope to try for the prem the season after

GK: Craig Gordon is a free transfer, Sam Johnstone on loan from United is solid.
RB: Todd Kane from Chelsea, James Taviernier is listed at Newcastle for 100k.
CB: Harry McGuire, Shane Duffy is Listed for 200k and Tom Thorpe is a free transfer after being released.
LB: Andrew Robertson and Stephen Hendrie.

But I highly recommend signing Vydra if you can on a free, and Luke Freeman from Stevenage [Strikers]. Both are lighting it up for me.
