Selling a player.

I've got too many players, and I've not got much money left for my team. Once I've put a player as 'transfer listed' is there anything else I can do to get a team to buy him? For instance can my assistant contact teams to try and get a deal? Or is it just a case of waiting?

Go to the player's 'transfer & contract' tab and there should be an option to offer him to clubs. Offer him at whatever transfer price you are looking for and that way clubs who may be interested will know of his availability.

I always set them as backup (not needed lowers their value), transfer list them and offer to clubs at around 1.5x their value, sometimes more if they're in form. Make sure you don't check the "transfer list and set to not needed" box on the offering screen, and set them as unavailable to loan. Should get good few offers.
