Selling Joe Cole?

I have been trying to sell Joe Cole for ages. He is on 90K per week and he is just in my reserves. He wont negotiate for a lower contract. He wants to leave but no team wants him because of his wage demands, he wont mutually terminate the contract and i cant release or he'll get £7 million compensation. What can i do to get rid of him
 
Try and loan him out every season until his contract comes out and get what you can in terms of percentage of his wages paid from the loaning team, I think that's the best you'll be able to manage and will just have to write off part of your wage budget until it runs out!

Thats part of the problem aswell, nobody wants him on loan, even when i put that they will be pay 50% of the wages. I know the best solution is to play him and try and get interest that way but with me trying to win the season its not something i want to do
 
Use every opportunity to argue with him and **** him off. I managed to get rid of both Terry and Drogba without paying compensation that way.
