setting up a forum - help needed.

So i am planning to unviel a new forum in the summer, dont no a name yet, and its main aspect will be databases as i think lots of people use/need/make them, also having kits general discussion logo etc etc...

i am looking for some helpers for guidence on how to make a good forum
