Seydou Doumbia not scoring??

I signed Seydou Doumbia for United for 17 million. His finishing is 18 and his composure is 15 yet he simply cannot score? He misses clear cut chance after clear cut chance its unbelievable! Anybody else have this problem??

No problems for me...signed him for £22mil pounds and he already has 3 goals and 1 assist in 4 games. I play him as a poacher alongside luis suarez. He had scored heaps for spurs previously, bound to be a legend.

Yeah I've been having the same problems, he's managed to put away 27 in 40 (16 in 25 in the league) though, but misses a lot of 1v1s.

Has anyone had any success training 'Places Shots' into him? My coach says he doesn't think he can do it when I suggest it even though he has high finishing & decent composure.

I am having the same problem. Scored something like 9 in 20 as a poacher. Just awful. Wastes chance upon chance. So sad, because his amazing stats in no way reflect his play on the pitch. Weird though, because in another save he has scored 18 in 19 games for Tottenham. What am I doing wrong? I don't understand...

Tried him as a complete forward with lessened mentality, but still nowhere near the consistency and goal scoring record I have heard boast on this site.

I have him as an advanced forward and yeah I also managed to train him to place shots, and he is 10x better after that.
My coach said the same that he doesnt think he can do it but I convinced him to do it anyway and it worked and now he scores soooo many 1on1's
