Having great results with this tactic - need a few people to test it out. So far it's worked with every team I've tried. It's sort of a 4-1-1-3-1, but the RMD's will really be the stars of the game, though the Striker will score a fair bit as well.

You'll get a lot of goals from corners and a lot from open play. Check out the RMD's stats:

Alexis had 10 goals in 9 games, before getting hurt. Giroud had 6 goals in 4 starts. But look at Ox:

7 assists in 9 games...and he's not even a good passer!

Worked well with Zwolle too.

Ezequiel had 4 goals and 2 assists in 4 games from the RMD spot.

19 goals in 5 games and only 5 given up.

9 goals in 3 games and only 1 given up.

So far, it's working great. Better than my other tactic. I've gonna keep testing it but if a few others could try it with different teams and let me know how it goes, that'd be great.

oi,training, corners(dl, ss)?

OI's are left to AssMan. Corners - I just put the strongest right footer on the left and left footer on the right, but I don't know how much it matters.

Training: Tactics Very High for preason for both general and match training. Then when the season starts, team cohesion average for general and attacking movement for match training.

But again, I don't know how much it matters, so you can experiment with changing those.

Wow! Terrific tactic. An absolute beast both offensively and defensively. My opponents have 1-3 shots at goal max and they rarely have any build up-play at all because I retrieve the ball so fast.

I'm playing with Bayern, so maybe it's not so strange but no other tactic has been so good for me especially defensively. I also like the fact that you have a lot of possession but create many chances. I've not had any success in creating a possession based tactic because they lack opportunities offensively. Neither have I found any tactic like that. Cudos to you.

I'm going to test this tactic with a lower team just to see if you exploited the ME. I also wonder how the effects would be if you changed DLP-role to F9 for the central striker? Or would it be too messy?

Really, really good tactic. And I have tested all of the tactics on this forum.

I'm curious to see how it works in the lower leagues too - that's my next test.

I did try changing the DLP to both an F9 and a Defensive Forward, but neither was as good as the DLP. He seems to get in good positions for assists and goals as a DLP, though you're free to change it around for your team and let me know how it goes (H)
