Years have passed, 55 years to be precise yet FC Shakhtar Donetsk nor any other Ukrainian team have succeded in Europes most prestigous and sought after trophy in the game. This is where I propose to stand in. Taking over this club I have a 3-5 year plan to take Shakhtar Donetsk to the top of not only Ukraine but also Europe. I see the club winning all domestic trophies with ease towards the end of this plan but I would also like to see some sort of european trophy in the clubs trophy cabinet too. I must leave now to begin my journey but will be back some time tomorrow to update my story on how pre-season and summer signings go.

So with a lucrative budget of £30million pounds (much more than I was anticapating) I set out for the transfer market. I set my sights on high reputation players who are qaulity and dont fail to perform. I looked towards to likes of balotelli, kjaer, barzagli and diarra but due to not being able to meet clubs demands and failing medicals all of these bids failed to be completed. But with a £5.5 million deal for Argentine Fernando Gago completed, I have my first signing and one I can be pleased at for a reasonable price due to his transfer status. More transfer updates and pre-season fixtures and results will follow tomorrow.

keep Gladkyi mate , he is the ****, he will score plenty of goals . Luiz Adriano is very quick but terrible in finishing. and buy a keeper, Pyatov sometimes fails. you have a good defensive miedfielder for the future and a good right back for the future also
