​Club chairman Kevin McCabe calls a press conference to break the news that current manager Danny Wilson would me making way for new manager Stephen Lewis. Upon completion of the press conference the chairman made these comments to sky sports news "We belive that new manager Stephen Lewis can take us back to the promised land of the premier league".

First signing

Manager Stephen Lewis makes his first signing of the summer transfer window by signing young promising winger QPR's Angelo Balanta on loan until the end of the season with the option for QPR to call him back at any time. Manager Stephen Lewis made these comments about the signing "This is a wonderful signing for the club" and "We hope he can make an impact and help us on our promotion race".
