Clyde Liquidated

It was announced today that Clyde Fc of the Scottish Third Division have been Liquidated and have therefore been kicked out of the SFL. A shortlist of there repalcements have been drawn up and the five contenders are; Cove Rangers, Burntisland Shipyard, Gala Fairydean, Huntly and Gretna 2008. Gala Fairydean are favourites to be asked to join after they only just lost out to Annan Athletic last year when Gretna went out of business.

Burntisland Selected

Burntisland shipyard have been selected to replace Clyde in the Scottish Third Division after the other 29 clubs voted them in with 26/29 votes. The only clubs not voting for Burntisland were; Raith Rovers, East Fife and Annan Athletic. Burntisland will struggle in to take the step up said SFA chief Neil Doncaster but we all firmly believe they can do it and we wish them all the best.

A dissapointing month but the squad is still gelling and i think with the players at the club we can deffinetly do more than the board expects and therefore my aim for the season is a top 5 finish.

The Jamaican striker was the pick of a bad bunch for July with a few good performances but still no goals for his new club.

The center midfielder had a solid month and set up 3 goals for his team in the 6=4 win over Elgin as well as getting his own goal in his clubs only victory ao far.
