Saw a bit of Nicky Shorey at Fulham last season, he was solid and reliable but lacked a bit of pace, didn't really make the side because Konchesky came back from injury in great form.
I am sure Nottingham Forest will be gutted at missing out on him because he was a key man in there good form last season.
