The minute I bought the game (since October 2013) I started a save with A.C. Milan . So far I 've been very successful won many tittles including 5 champions league and I have 5 players from my academy in my starting liveup . I 'm in year 2024 now but I 'm not so sure whether I keep on playing it or start a new with united for example or atlentico madrid . What would you advice me ?

What about going to a different team in the same save, and see if you can topple Milan as a super power?

That might be a good idea my friend since I am starting to get bored with the save but to be honest I don 't want to start a new game from the beginning !

I have two managers on my file, so it keeps it fresh. I have a permanent one at Liverpool, whilst my other manager is a bit more of a journeyman, so it keeps me suitably entertained going into the 2029/30 season.

That's a cool idea! Might have to try that out. Never thought of that for some reason :)

Was a housemate that put me onto the idea, usually goes United, and an unemployed manager that starts in the 3.Bundesliga. I usually start with Liverpool, and Lincoln, my home team, and get them secure in the prem before I move. Not done as much touring with manager two this year as I did last year, but I can blame that on Edgar Davids nearly relegating Lincoln and forcing me to step back in.

Yestreday when I returned from work I started playing my save. I 've quit Milan and started looking for a new challenge... My quest did not last much. I simply quit the game without saving it and started again from where I 've left before my regnitation !

Worth a try! How about resigning, going on holiday with it set to apply for all jobs, and take the first one that offers you a position?

To by honest Napoli offered my a job (my 2nd favorite team in Italy) and I was thinking of accepting it, but then realised that I was uncapable of going to another team after what I 've created so far in Milan !

Haha fair enough, I'm the same with my Liverpool manager, no way I'd want to leave my creation!

Then you understand me ! My ambition is to keep on playing until my starting lineup will consist of players only from my academy !

This is a good idea but Do you ever make transfers between the 2 clubs you control? Id do this but I think if I did this I'd just prioritize my main club and keep sending my other teams best players over to them

I left my all English Southampton team in 2020 to take the reigns of Monaco (who wern't as good as what they should have been) and after 2 seasons have practically got the best team in the world. Went back to Southampton for 2 regens, but only that. After I get bored of Monaco I've targetted going to the Eredivisie and making Ajax another super power.

Like you I always quit my saves after getting bored of the team I'm with, but I thought I'd give myself a change and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

Go to PSG or Monaco IMO, you get far too much money, the league tends to be a really poor quality and just set yourself a 5 year challenge.

This is the very first time in the game that I 've played a save for so much ! I usually get bored and start over (Maybe because I do not want to face the team that I created). I was determined to take over a new team but could not leave yet . Perhaps when my new contract expire (in 2029) , I 'll chose not to renew it and see what will happen .

I have a couple of times, if absolutely necessary, but usually only a loan deal if I need cover for players/injury. I try and avoid it if possible though.

I've quit long-term saves before, or moved on to another club within the same save, and then lost interest in it very soon after. The best thing about Southampton being relegated to League One in real life was what it meant to any self-respecting, Saints-supporting FM11 player! Then I got bored of winning the Premier League and went to Villarreal, but it wasn't the same. Their stupid banana-coloured football kit didn't help, either.

You find yourself revisiting your old team's screen and criticising the new manager for transfer listing this player or signing that player! And it's really annoying if they become even more successful under the new guy than they were under you! So if you do stop your long term save, I'd advise you to duplicate the file and keep it safely tucked away so that you can return to it again later if you come to decide that leaving was a wrong decision.

Whether I buy FM15 or continue with the current one until FM16 comes out - which I did with FM11 to FM13 - my next save will begin with IFK Goteborg in Sweden and then I'll journeyman my way around the world until I've won the European Champions Cup (which I have only ever won - but multiple times - in one epic ChampMan 03/04 save with Werder Bremen, Hamburg and Manchester United) and the Libertadores Cup (which I have never been in before). I shall avoid England, altogether.

I did that the minute I resigned from Milan and they hired Tata Martino to fill my place !! I was more curious to watch my old club progress instead of finding a new job . That 's why I reload the save and continue with my mighty A.C. Milan !! Last year I had a long term save with Everton and after six seasons Arsenal offered me a job and I took it. Did not last a season ... I quit the game and started a new one.

If I get bored with a club and don't know where to go I take up a national job. Going on holiday in between international matches moves the leagues forward quick. I usually open up the league for that nation too (which help gets more players for your nation).

I went on an excursion to manage Orlando Pirates in South Africa for a bit, then to the MLS with Real Salt Lake. USA leagues are mental due to the squad registration rules.
