Should you play a player who wants to leave with abysmal morale?

Basically looking for an answer to the question in the title. Second season as Newcastle at the start of January and Cabaye said he wanted to leave, long story short he's now transfer listed and has abysmal morale. I have a game against Aston Villa and the two alternatives are Sissoko and an 18 y/o regen. Should I play Cabaye with his abysmal morale or should I play one of the other two? I don't know how much wanting to leave will affect a players performances.

Thanks in advance.

Moral is everything in this game and low moral will make him play badly. I wouldn't risk it as he'll probably get a sub 6.5 rating (I've had players go as low as 4 with horrid moral)

You re the boss. If you re trying to build a squad and or you bought him with your hard earned cash then stand your ground. Keep playing him for half a season and he ll turn round. One player with low morale doesnt make any difference. Ive had unhappy players routinely play well/score goals.

You should never let people leave unles YOU want it!

Thanks guys. I ended up playing him and still won 2-0, although he had a 6.6 'complacent' rating. Going to keep playing him as no one is willing to buy him for the 30 million I set (unrealistic I know). Real Madrid offered 12 when his value is 20 haha!
