Demba Ba. Was free and has been one of the best strikers in the league this season. imo the second best behind Van Persie.

ye really have to wait til end of the season to say 'who was the best signing of the season' a lot can change. but right now it has to be Ba or Yakubu or Cabaye

Ba has to come top because getting that sort of goalscorer for nothing is amazing but Marveaux (good enough to be linked to Chelsea and other top clubs last summer iirc) and Friedel (both free) have been amazing signings in their own right.
