I recently took the head coaching job in a lower level league. Starting unemployed, the begin date for my career did not coincide with the begin date for the league I became apart of, causing an awkward situation.
I played through the few remaining cup games which my team happened to have left but after that I am faced with 225 days until next game. My question is, what should I do? Simming the game takes a long time because I have so many leagues going simultaneously, but going on vacation doesn't really seem to be right either since nothing seems to be getting done in the back office despite deferring all training activities and friendlies to co-managers and staff.
What do you guys normally do during long extended off seasons? Do you continue running the office and scheduling friendlies all the time or do you just auto sim until the beginning of pre-season?
Thanks in advance!
