Skin problem, No idea how to solve!

Hey guys, searched for a while to try find a solution to my problem but can't find how to fix it! Anyhow, my problem is with loading any skins at all that work. I won't give you all the boring fixes I have tried, only what I've tried this morning.

Uninstalled the FM2011 (was using steam but due to terrible internet connection gave up re-installing and re-downloading updates everytime). So re-installed using disk.

First thing I done was load the 11.1.1 patch from FM website. Then tried to load the skin straight away (trying to use RD5 btw) in C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\data\skins\rd5. So far so good.

Then start up the game, straight to Preferences, blah blah(ticked/unticked etc) Confirm then takes you to main menu, Load Last Game. Now where is the Continue button or drop down menus! Have I done anything wrong?



Whew, done! Any help would be much appreciated guys :)
 
that is weird. do you have problems with the default skins?

not really an expert on skins, you should drop a PM into KevyMatts or StuW

skins need to go in >> user documents/sports interactive/football manager 2011/skins
Not in program files on c:\ drive
if you have put the skin into program files data etc on c:\ drive then delete from there 1st then put the skin into the above directory and see if tht works better
