hello

i started my game on friday and i selected small data base by accident, how does this affect the game, and will regens still come through as i have most leagues selected???

i have looked for a fred,so if there all ready is one sorry!!

The number of players added will depend on how many leagues you load. But as an example, in the screenshot in the OP, there is just England loaded down to League 2 - the size for each level is as follows:

Small - 7000
Medium - 10000
Large - 13000
Huge - 19000

Database size dictates the number of players that are available for you to scout/sign. The larger the DB, the more players available. It also dictates the game speed: small DB is the fastest option.

Not sure about player gens, though. Common sense says there will be less world-wide player gens if you use a smaller DB.

cheers

i thought that so its not a major difference then?i just dont want to get far along then there arnt any good regens say from brazil south america etc

shall i start agian and select large data base??? your thoughts please

you must always load a Large Database, always, whats the point of loading a small or medium one?? why not even get the Huge Database instead??? :)

it all depends on how you personally like to play Fm, some people just want to play quick games with their favourite clubs and only load like a nation or two at most, I for one load a minimum of 8 per game, when my Fm11 arrives (this week) my first game I will load at least 22 nations or so as I love searching the Fm world for bargains and hidden talent!

so I would suggest loading a Large one as all these players that people find and suggest, you are not going to have them in your game!

umm it looks like i will have to start a new game, but hay that meens more time on fm, ummm huge data base sounds so sexy |)

I dislike it when the game is chugging through other match results, especially so during crappy international breaks. My system is showing it's age so I habitually play on medium DB setting as the game data processing is so slow on it. Happily I'm just about to up-gun my sys specs, so I'll then be using a large/huge DB.
