I am moved to post as I simply can not win a game. I even get dominated by teams when I am at home and the stronger side by far. Please help!
I am playing with Spurs, have signed Lucas Lima and Gabriel. Trying to play 4231 wide, pressing the opposition and playing short to feet

some other gripes while I am at it.
Why is there never any injury time when you are losing. Injury time is very badly modelled anyway.
Why is the opposition so much more potent? they need so many fewer chances to score

When Away from home or playing a good team I am more circumspect, but at least I get results in these games!

Counter attacking is alot more effective in FM16. If you leave yourself too exposed, you are going to be ripped apart. Look for overlap + exploit flanks will make both your wide players(fullbacks and wingers) in attack duty. Having more players in attacking mentality doesn't mean you can score more goals. Sometimes less is more.

In central midfielder, you also do not have any midfield players protecting your centrebacks.

Yeah, you are massively attacking and incredibly open. You're leaving the 2 centrebacks back only, completely alone. It's a fairly aggressive formation, with a very attacking Mentality and roles/duties + TIs. The only player who is staying behind slightly, will be the BWM/D, but the minute the opposition has the ball, he'll go charging out to meet the ball carrier and leave the centrebacks alone.

A 4-2-3-1 usually has 2 steady midfielders to compensate for marauding fullbacks and the RPM is definitely not one as he can get quite far forward.

Thanks guys, will give it a try.
Would you recommend the 2 CM to be in defend duty?

Dier and Alli maybe? Have one a dlp defend and another a cm support but give him PIs to stick to his position.
