So Hi! given the crazy amount of money in football I wanted to see how cheaply I could win the league. my aim here is to win 5 years whilst under the following conditions:
Keep the wage bill under 50m currently 46.53m a year 9th highest
Player contracts cannot include sell on fee percentage and signings must be young to be able to sell on also one of the philosophies
To not pay excessive agent fees or signing on fees
Keep Net transfer spend at £0 or below
If I receive bids that over value my players I have to accept, but I can negotiate to get the highest fee possible
Season 1
We start in October 2014, with carver stepping down and resorting back to his original position as assistant manger with having made no additional transfers (disabled first budgets) Newcastle finds themselves in 17th having played 6 league games and getting themselves knocked out of the capital one cup in the third round by of course fielding a weakened team much to the fans dismay.
Without wanting to spend much money Mike Ashley decides to hire the young, unemployed pro continental badge holding Josh Steer.
My Target is to finish above mid table, I cant make any changes to staff and need to bleed in youngsters and buy youngsters for the first team.
I decide to play a 4-2-3-1 system playing short passing in a control system , with a low temp in a structured mentality keeping the ball and working as a unit.
I keep morale high in the squad by introducing himself there so relived to get rid of carver as manager they all look like there in a very good mood!.
My reign begins with games against Burnley, West Ham, Swansea, Leicester and QPR.
I aim for 10 points.
Whilst bemoaning my luck due to an inury to titote, questions are asked including from fan favourite les Ferdinand following a 3-0 loss to swansea. However wins against Burnley, Leicester and QPR means I hit my target of 10 points propelling them to 11th on 14 points.
The Next 8 games go by with poor results 0 wins, 6 draws and 2 losses I decide to give sissoko who's playing as my no.10 more freedom outside my set up this works well.
In the January Transfer window I buy an AML which is where im conceding most of my goals. I get 23 year old Nicola Sansone for £4.5m from Sassuolo I let Gutierrez go both were/are on 45k a week
Sissoko has a bid I negotiate to 20m but it falls through, I tell all my players they are free to leave providing they match our valuation keeping them all happy.
Sansone doesn't actually do particularly well playing 13 games with an average rating of 6.67 =( However keeping the same tactic the results flow whilst not pulling any upsets we are consistent in beating lower league teams such as leicester, qpr aston villa while getting destroyed by those in the top 4.
We Come an impressive 8th with 52 points with a goal difference of -5.

Targets: I pick the lowest option which surprisingly is to achieve a euro cup spot very odd considering this is mike ashley we are talking about.
Bids come in thick and fast I get good offers

Sissoko 20m Dortmund (bid came in wanted to leave shame he was my best player but everyone is replaceable)
Janmaat 15m Real Madrid low average rating but good scout report win win
Tiote £10m Parma poor average rating not needed as he is a CDM, which my tactic doesnt use
Cisse 6m Burnley was poor when played unhappy about game time
Bigrimana 3.2m Hull
Riviere 3m Aston Villa
Ferguson £2.5m West Brom
Aeombi, Dummet Coloccini (due to his 60k wages) Marveaux and a few youngsters are all sold also bringing in 67m.

Micah Richards Free Transfers 44.5k ( free, solid and english slightly older at 27 but due to being a free i make an exception)
Andre Wisdom £1.4m 17.75k transfer listed young english a no brainer
Raul Jimenez 24, £2m 50k high finishing and composure (striker) a cut down price from Atletico signing him in the first deason of 8.25m
Aleix Vidal, 26, £3.3m 31.5k cheap, AMR which are harder to find a good option
Joel Veltman 23, £5m 37k solid CB from ajax high tacking marking and positioning of 16 seems like a good buy
Pedro Obiang 23, £5.5m 42k spanish cm, high passing and work rate
Virgil van Dijk 24, £7m 41.5k very strong CB and farily quick
Berahino £10.25m 41.5k (I have reservations due to high fee but hes english and young so I still should be able to make a profit long run).
Total 37.75m The board buy a couple of youngsters
Net Spending -10.8m Including Sansone from january
Current Wage Bill £47.6m 14th Highest
I keep with the same tactic but going defensive when playing the big teams it works well by focusing on team cohesion initially after re-learning my tactics, the players perform I keep bonuses low ofc, luckily affects very few players and 19 games in to the season we are in 6th with 36 points 10wins out of 19.
Van Djik, Obertan and Berahino have highest average ratings. Obertan doesnt play very often but when he does he does well surprisingly as his scout report and statistics arent great
Berahino seems to be a useless striker but on the right wing or AMC he does well 11 appearances, 4 goals, 3 assists 2 PoM.
However 3 of those goals came against hull in a 4-3 thriller victory still he was awesome that match
My worst players are sadly the english signings, richards and wisdom having an average rating of 6.68 and 6.63.
To combat this I play santon on the right with Haidara on the left when hes not injured!
I rotate the side keeping them fresh, while keeping Van Dijk and krul and Cabella in as often as possible.
We have an average age of 24, the best attribute is work rate 9th in the league worst is strength 14th something I will look at next summer.
Out goes Perez for £20m to chelsea he was playing well and only on 11k a week! but hes not worth 20m so he goes and in come Luis Muriel as his replacement for 4.5m
In January we really feel the loss off perez losing to qpr, aston villa and tottenham all in a row the fans call on me to change my system I refuse, we play agasint stoke and get to see muriel for the first time in action after his injury he scores on his debut for a 3-1 win yes!
I also look for players to pick up on a free at the end of the season and find rugani a talented young centre back.
I rotate players for the 4th round of the fa cup agaisnt reading we lose 3-1 frustration grows
another two draws and two losses morale is low weve dropepd to 11th and we have a hard run of fixtures this is not looking good.
Siem De Jong gets injured for 8 months! argh
A loss to united, Ashley calls me into a board meeting I have a month to improve...
Things dont get off to a good start 3-0 loss to chelsea im starting to sweat must win game agaisnt West brom.
I again decide to tweak my tactic telling them not to be more discipline in the instructions thankfully this pays off two wins in a row agaisnt west brom and bournemouth save my job phew!
We finish okay getting two more wins one draw and three losses to the end of the season much improvement will be needed however although we come 9th below europa league which while the board is disappointed I am not my job is stable due to youngster signings and wage control. We gain 54 points a slight improvement over last year.
End of Season 2
This transfer window I need to focus on quality not depth so
out goes steven taylor saving me 40k and brining in a million pounds, obertan richards (he never improved had to go) and rob elliot all leave giving me much more wiggle room in the wage department.
And amazingly much to my delight southampton want sansone the winger I bought for £4.5m he asks to leave I get a staggering 15m for him xD
In comes Rugani, the free CB he looks good im pleased, Flanagan is richards replacement to keep the quota only 2.7m I decide wingers is where the quality is needed to be added.
Cartabia comes in for 7.25m from Valencia on 60k week its a gamble but quality is needed if im ever going to win this ****** thing
and my other gamble is former united wonderboy Januzaj. He's transfer listed at PSG i pick him up for £3.3m upfront but with an additional 9m to pay after he plays 50games as such I will need to evaluate him after the season to see if its worth paying him he too eats up my wage budget due to his 66k a week. New Contracts to tim krul and anita dont help my cause but its necessary to keep them for transfer value if nothing else.
Given these additions however I fear my tactic will be useless so I make another counter attacking direct with a fast tempo in the hope of getting the most out of these players sticking with the 4-2-3-1.
The New Tactic seems to be working well with berahino now excelling in a striker role because of it scoring 4 goals in one game agaisnt southampton!!!
Veltman is sold to aresnal a solid cb but not worth £14.5m I find a replacement in Munoz 5.5m
Sadly Im over my wage budget, I loan out Lascelles to compensate as a reusult my wage bill is now £50.13m 12th highest in the league granted this is over my target however seems kinda pointless to get rid of more youngsters for 0.13m so ive let myself off the hook.
Morale is high however the new signings and contracts are now causing concerns with some of the members of the squad who feel they should earn more they probably do, but theres no money left in my wage bill so they remain unhappy.
Again a negative Net transfer spend , £9.9m and the squad is stronger.
I want europe this year it seems achievable and a must if I'm to push on and win the title within 5 years.
Morale taks a turn for the worse, colback in paticular is playing well and is really unhappy about his contract i give him and he gets an 8k raise, to compensate i am currently trying to sell siem de jong who is needed with januzaj and hasnt been the same since his injury.
We find ourselves in 7th 18 games in with chelsea just bidding and activating van dijk release clause of 20m.
the contract situation improves morale and form, van dijk isnt missed as rudiger does well replacing him.
I Loan out de jong saving myself 35k a week and purchase Bony who is transfer listed in a strange deal where city pay some of his wages but ask for a buy back price of £7m in return I accept, he fires his agent thus allowing me to give him more money than I would have liked but it is a necessary purchase. £4m 60k a week However wages are up to £52m and there's nothing else I can do about it I can fix this in the summer but with injuries I cant loan/sell anyone else =( but screw it i got bony!
However net spending is now -21.5m and the goal is £0 so a little lean way on wages seems fair. Again I sacrifice progression in the cups to rest my team the board weirdly are annoyed but there not my goal I want the title!
3 games and wins later morale is high and bony's debut awaits us (African Cup) I make him a complete forward his ideal role he scores and wins us the match twice xD well worth going over budget for. Were 7th however we are only one point off 3rd the big 6 has turned into the big 7 liverpool are storming to the title on 56 points 2 points ahead of utd and 13 ahead of me surely I have no chance for winning this thing in year 3...
Another game another win now we face united also gunning for the title in 2nd place I have injuries to the squad if there was any a time to pull an upset it was now.
I keep with my tactic it was working well I decide to go with counter against united injuries to santon, flanagan, rudger, anita and Jimenez mean I have to only have 6 subs this was going to be a long shot.
HT one highlight possesion evenly split 0-0.
I tell the team assertively im disappointed which provokes a positive reaction with everyone except wisdom

FT 1-0 Result! That moves us too third, man city fire klopp who are in 7th and have a wage bill 4times the size of mine im on 49 points 26 games in 8 behind utd and 13 behind LFC

International break I give the guys 2days off from traning as a reward and we soldier on praying for no injuries
29 games after a 3-0 throw away to burnley ft 3-3 im in no mood we fall down to 7th title's gone but a top 4 finish would open me up to new players for next season as such it is my new target for this year.
Injuries hit us hard with 5 key players getting injured we have no chance and lose to lfc, chelsea and tottenham we end up finishing 7th on 66 points my highest tally so far im disappointed but progress is being made we qualify for the europa league qualifying round im tempted to lose it...
Bony has done well, scoring 9 goals in 13, Januzaj also had a good season hes now valued at 15m if I were to sell him it would mean a huge profit as it stands he's only cost me 3m... 22 games left before the 9m fee.
Our defence is good only conceding two more than liverpool who end up with the title winning with guardiola in charge rodgers was fired the year before as lfc came 6th who takes the man city job.
So this transfer window I need to hold on to bony, buy a new striker and a winger.
End of Season 3.
So transfer window! im anxious one wrong move couls set me back and im in season 4 i have two years left.
Bids come in immediatly for rugani a staggering 25m amazingly it falls through.
I let gouffran's contract run out he actually played well for me throughout his tenure but we need to kick on saving me 30k, out goes Jimenez for 3m to burnley he was dissapointing signing I have to pay 9k of his 50k wages but its worth it to give me more room. Abeid, Muriel and De jong all go lascelles loaned out again.
In comes Florian Thauvin from marseille talented young AML, 5m 27.5k a week, M'Villa comes in from arsenal 4.3m 45k a week, and Fabio Borini is my final signing 5m 55k.
Bony stays =) and I have a net spending of -£3.75m sadly I am still slightly over my wage budget on 52m however we are the 16th highest wage bill in the league does fm have inflation? either way close enough.
we start well 7 points out of 9, but europa scares me 8 more games being in the group stage I decide to rest key players in all games I'm here to win the title europa is a distraction.
The season goes quickly, with resting players for europa and cups we do well but injuries and a lack of consistency mean while we are improving were not title contenders its a shame but it looks like it will go down to the wire in my 5th season. 24 games in we find ourselves joint 4th with tottenham on 44 points 15 points off liverpool who look unbeatable with guardiola at the helm
Were still in the fa cup beating sunderland and west ham, I start to wonder whether a long cup run would improve morale and therefore league performances, and then one league apperance away from having to pay PSG 9m for Januzaj at madrid make a bid...
I negotiate 30m and frankly scout anyone and everyone as a replacement then on the 30th Atletico also bid for bony! 20m I negotiate this is great and terrible all at the same time I have two days to replace probably my best two players how can they afford them both WHO DO I GET!!!
Deadline day still scouting still waiting then man city bid for flanagan argh!!they offer 10 i want 15 he stays
9.00am currently
10.45 I decide on Milanov as a replacement for Januzaj a bid of 10m rising to 13.5 is accepted he rejects the contract offer OMG!!!
11.30 I dont know what to no movement on bony or Januzaj no replacements in mind no wonder liverpool bought carroll at 35m this is madness!
12.00 am why oh why didnt I add more players to this database nobody is out there its no wonder clubs dont do any business in January and then to my horror Januzaj and bony are ready to accept...
Either I cancel and be a hypocrite to my own game or I sell and lose my best two players with no replacement and only 12 hours to go
12.15 am i confirm both deals much to mike ashley's delight and the fans horror to ashley im a god 18months a go I purchased both these players for a total of 7m now ive just sold them for a total of 50m. To the fans I've just sold my top goal scorer and creator on deadline day when we have an outside chance of the title and a good chance for top 4. I try again for milanov. and then it hits me I have cabella I cna play him at AMC and just buy another winger! i scout and scout milanov can go to **** he wanted more than double whats he on now forget that. I start to scout the highest average rating players who are worth at least 1m and have played at least 10 games I scout the appropriate ages and see what my scouts say.
2.30 pm and there he is my knight in shining armour incredibly an AMC feyenoord's Vilhena my scout gets immediataly gets a new contract as to my amazement a deal of around 6.5m apparently the word hasnt hit them that I have 50m burning in my pocket its accepted now please tell me his wages are reasonable.
2.45 pm hes on 8k and he wants 45k a week ****** agents but I have no choice I must have him
4.15pm he takes his sweet time mulling it over but he is here huzzah now for a striker...
4.30pm omg I love my scouts my report back to me with Cristian Penilla a 25 year old advanced forward he will fit right into my system! a bid is negotiated and accepted of around 7m
4.45pm he wants a lot of money but I have some spare bony and Januzaj were both on 60 and 66k while my replacement was only on 45k its a lot but I should be in budget. The press ask me if this is a panic buy i tell them a DUH!

I dont know how it happened but we become unbeatable often winning 1-0, both the newbies are pretty underwhelming especially panilla who keeps getting injured aswell I tell myself they need time to settle...
however nothing can stop us from conceding not even krul getting injured, even more impressive given I sold my 2nd choice gk how odd.
thauvin wants to leave for first team football fine by me.
De Vilhena starts to find his feet scoring a crucial goal agaisnt man city in a two one win how are we doing this? were unbeaten since january 37 games in were bony and januzaj bad eggs?
chelsea win the league, beating us in the final game of the season meaning we come 5th 5TH! on level points with tottenham who beat lfc on the last day they have 2 more goals than us 73 points is an improvement but still...
I sell quickly penilla, Mvilla and Thauvin all leave for a profit incredible really i have to get this right this is my last season.
End of Season 4.
Ok incomings first off I look to my under 21's much to my surprise there are two players who can do a job for back up first team which helps with wages rudger is sold for 20m kngolo from psg is his 3m replacement, enriquez replaces mvilla 13m i know! and Jackson Martinez is the new 10m striker hes now 31 and 10m is a lot considering however he was transfer listed at chelsea so they a significant proportion keeping them low for me and as my net transfer spend is -£30m i can take the hit.
Last try weve made progress everyyear morale is so important and have decided to put league bonuses high for the first time ever it feels wrong but given we made a profit of 223m last year so be it.
Monaco bid for borini £20m kaching! in comes james wilson on loan at 50% off his wages easy decision.
Beradi is transfer listed for chelsea honestly what a badly run club i snap him up for 12m with 40k being paid again by chelsea keeping his wages at 43k.
In comes the english CM brownhill out goes pedro obiang 7m going each way 6k saving in wages brining my wage bill to 49.86m 16th in the league.
flanagan's new contract brings us to exactly 50m =).
10 games in 4 wins and 3 draws it seems hopeless the only glimmer is that martinez is performing well 7 goals in 10 league appearances.
5 games later our form improves as does morale to both me and the players 8 points behind league leaders come on!
surprisingly even through resting 1st team players we qualify to the knockout stages of the europa oh gawd...
the league is tighter this year, chelsea have won 3 out of the last 4 seasons but theyve had a worse start than I this is our year I can feel it. The wins keep coming, partly thanks to morale being superb we win all the way to january where I pray I dont get any bids not this year ... please.
I realise that my stregth lies in my strikers with martinez wilson and beradi as a result i start to play 2 up front going attacking from the off. 19 games in we are a close 5th 3 points off 2nd united find consistency and are on 43 points compared to my 35...
January 1st ofc bids come flying in what did I expect? If i turn down players will become unhappy but I cant have the personel change I just cant i need this title but this was the challenge.
Arsenal bid for de Vilhena i get 30m its great business but still. I dont bother with a replacement I look but we have a bigger squad and with the formation change to 4-2-4 hes not needed as much anyway. this may be my downfall we shall see.
southampton want Rugani they bid 12 i want 25 they say no.
de vilhena agrees the move I make him wait we play arsenal next I want him to know what hes going to be missing. we win 2-0 I wish him farewell.
United next this will have a big say in the title must win game. No wilson being ineligble and martinez is carrying a slight knock my players are in brilliant form with the exception of berahino and beradi im unsure whether to start them both. United play the same formation falcao is in exceptional form however they rest of their first team squad is fatigued I decide to counter and start the match.
intrestingly utd play a flat 4-4-2 for the match they have mascherano! aswell as my former player perez who played less than 10 games for chelsea after 18months how dare they.
we draw hugely frustrating but we were lucky to get a point tbh, 11 points behind with a game in hand 16 games left we need a miracle. we beat lfc 3-2 8 points behind.
No more bids no more signings 16 games left this is it.
my starting 11 are over the moon however the squad players are becoming un easy asking for games its so important to keep morale high but rotating them weakens my team its a tough call.
I rotate slightly more keeping moral high we draw our next match... luckily united lose moral be dammed 1st choice only from now on.
we beat qpr comfortably rising to 2nd 7 points behind united 13 games left.
Europa league beckons ugh rotate and rest seems a logical choice but a loss could deflate moral i rest and hope.
After all these years despite the highest profit ever recorded in newcastle history mike ashley beings to sell the club possible board takeover if I lose my job before the end of the season...
It falls through over valuation, goodness knows what ashley values it at now, 11 games left we beat progress to quater final of europa, 5 points behind united closing in.
9 games to go both me and united drop points brining tottenham into contention united 1st 61, tottenham 2nd 59, newcastle 3rd 58. We play spurs next gulp.
we lose 1-0 6 points behind 8 games left frustration grows morale drops...
tottenham lose to arsenal brining liverpool into title contention, we went from a 2 horse race to 4 still 6 points behind united 7 games left.
we lose to roma in the quater final, might be for the best.
And there it is pressure! united lose to everton 5 games left one game in hand 6 points behind.
we draw our game in hand agaisnt chelsea beradi scoring a last minute equaliser I bet he enjoyed that one!
we beat lecister as man united beat city that was a real chance 3 games 5 points it might be too late.
I can barely watch my team my entire focus is on united playing chelsea. chelsea have to win they just have too.
we beat blackburn 1-0 increbily given our 59% possesion and 27 shots. oh and man united I hear you ask? 1-1 my old play van djik scoring a late equaliser good on ya lad! still though 2 games 3 points...
We finish the season strongly destroying the remaning teams 4-0 and 5-0 however sadly like in life there is no fairy tale ending manchester united win there remaining games and win the title with 83 points we finish second with 80 points. Its a good accomplishment but uiltimatley a failure. You might be thinkin just do one more season you can still do this but alas no 5 years was the target 5 years was the aim another year would rely on regens and thats something I just cant do. Our wage bill is 49.95m 18th in the league not bad for someone who just came 2nd.
We earn a profit of 355m a staggering amount, however its not enough for ashley to keep the club who sells it on much to the fans delight. I fall on my sword resigning and retiring vowing never to return again at least not untill fm16.
But just before I do I take a look back at all my transfers.
Sansone was bought for 4.5 sold 2 years later for 15m played poorly was sold 2 years later for 3.3m to torino where he finishes the season well scoring 8 goals and 3 assists.
Virgil Van dijk finally breaks into the first team achieving more than double appearances in this year than his entire 3 years at chelsea.
Richards continues to play terrible for burnley Jimenez scores 10 for burnley and is sold for 5.5 a 2.4m profit not bad.
Perez plays for united after moving from chelsea for an 8m loss, however dont fret it turns out he was on our side playing 17 matches and scoring 2 goals slowing them down =)
Janmaat is a huge success at madrid playing over 50games achieving an average rating of 7.39, he moves to liverpool two years later and is wasted on the bench maddness.
Moussa Sissoko after moving to dortmund for 20m he struggles to adapt playing 38 games over 2 seasons with a 6.67 average rating, he moves to cska moscow for 4.2m where he plays better 6.9 avg rating.
tiote is an awful signing for parma playing consistencly poor 59 games avg 6.67 he moves to granada for 2m 2 years later and continues to struggle.
Januzaj and bony win the league with athletico with Januzaj becoming a first team regular and just tearing it up, bony does well in his few appearances but wants to leave for first team football he is currently transfer listed.
Rudger does a solid yet unremarkable job at city 20 appearances avg 7.
Thauvin proves to be a good buy for everton he excels playing every week making 6 assists 4 goals in his 28 appearances.
Bornini scores 16 in 36 for monaco not bad at all. Penilla oh my impulsive buy who I somehow doubled my money on in 6months much to the board's delight he playes 9 games for spurs scoring 4.
Tonny de Vilhena, Januzaj's replacement sadly another wasted talent he makes 3 apperances for arsenal and plays poorly in each he is currently unhappy.
M;villa flourishes being back in france and proves to bee a great buy for nice avg 7.24

So Hi! given the crazy amount of money in football I wanted to see how cheaply I could win the league. my aim here is to win 5 years whilst under the following conditions:
Keep the wage bill under 50m currently 46.53m a year 9th highest
Player contracts cannot include sell on fee percentage and signings must be young to be able to sell on also one of the philosophies
To not pay excessive agent fees or signing on fees
Keep Net transfer spend at £0 or below
If I receive bids that over value my players I have to accept, but I can negotiate to get the highest fee possible

We start in October 2014, with carver stepping down and resorting back to his original position as assistant manger with having made no additional transfers (disabled first budgets) Newcastle finds themselves in 17th having played 6 league games and getting themselves knocked out of the capital one cup in the third round by of course fielding a weakened team much to the fans dismay.

Whilst bemoaning my luck due to an inury to titote, questions are asked including from fan favourite les Ferdinand following a 3-0 loss to swansea. However wins against Burnley, Leicester and QPR means I hit my target of 10 points propelling them to 11th on 14 points.
The Next 8 games go by with poor results 0 wins, 6 draws and 2 losses I decide to give sissoko who's playing as my no.10 more freedom outside my set up this works well.
In the January Transfer window I buy an AML which is where im conceding most of my goals. I get 23 year old Nicola Sansone for £4.5m from Sassuolo I let Gutierrez go both were/are on 45k a week

I keep with the same tactic but going defensive when playing the big teams it works well by focusing on team cohesion initially after re-learning my tactics, the players perform I keep bonuses low ofc, luckily affects very few players and 19 games in to the season we are in 6th with 36 points 10wins out of 19.
Van Djik, Obertan and Berahino have highest average ratings. Obertan doesnt play very often but when he does he does well surprisingly as his scout report and statistics arent great
Berahino seems to be a useless striker but on the right wing or AMC he does well 11 appearances, 4 goals, 3 assists 2 PoM.
However 3 of those goals came against hull in a 4-3 thriller victory still he was awesome that match
My worst players are sadly the english signings, richards and wisdom having an average rating of 6.68 and 6.63.
To combat this I play santon on the right with Haidara on the left when hes not injured!
I rotate the side keeping them fresh, while keeping Van Dijk and krul and Cabella in as often as possible.
We have an average age of 24, the best attribute is work rate 9th in the league worst is strength 14th something I will look at next summer.
Out goes Perez for £20m to chelsea he was playing well and only on 11k a week! but hes not worth 20m so he goes and in come Luis Muriel as his replacement for 4.5m
In January we really feel the loss off perez losing to qpr, aston villa and tottenham all in a row the fans call on me to change my system I refuse, we play agasint stoke and get to see muriel for the first time in action after his injury he scores on his debut for a 3-1 win yes!
I also look for players to pick up on a free at the end of the season and find rugani a talented young centre back.
I rotate players for the 4th round of the fa cup agaisnt reading we lose 3-1 frustration grows
another two draws and two losses morale is low weve dropepd to 11th and we have a hard run of fixtures this is not looking good.

Things dont get off to a good start 3-0 loss to chelsea im starting to sweat must win game agaisnt West brom.
I again decide to tweak my tactic telling them not to be more discipline in the instructions thankfully this pays off two wins in a row agaisnt west brom and bournemouth save my job phew!
We finish okay getting two more wins one draw and three losses to the end of the season much improvement will be needed however although we come 9th below europa league which while the board is disappointed I am not my job is stable due to youngster signings and wage control. We gain 54 points a slight improvement over last year.

This transfer window I need to focus on quality not depth so
out goes steven taylor saving me 40k and brining in a million pounds, obertan richards (he never improved had to go) and rob elliot all leave giving me much more wiggle room in the wage department.
And amazingly much to my delight southampton want sansone the winger I bought for £4.5m he asks to leave I get a staggering 15m for him xD
In comes Rugani, the free CB he looks good im pleased, Flanagan is richards replacement to keep the quota only 2.7m I decide wingers is where the quality is needed to be added.
Cartabia comes in for 7.25m from Valencia on 60k week its a gamble but quality is needed if im ever going to win this ****** thing
and my other gamble is former united wonderboy Januzaj. He's transfer listed at PSG i pick him up for £3.3m upfront but with an additional 9m to pay after he plays 50games as such I will need to evaluate him after the season to see if its worth paying him he too eats up my wage budget due to his 66k a week. New Contracts to tim krul and anita dont help my cause but its necessary to keep them for transfer value if nothing else.
Given these additions however I fear my tactic will be useless so I make another counter attacking direct with a fast tempo in the hope of getting the most out of these players sticking with the 4-2-3-1.
The New Tactic seems to be working well with berahino now excelling in a striker role because of it scoring 4 goals in one game agaisnt southampton!!!
Veltman is sold to aresnal a solid cb but not worth £14.5m I find a replacement in Munoz 5.5m

We finish the season strongly destroying the remaning teams 4-0 and 5-0 however sadly like in life there is no fairy tale ending manchester united win there remaining games and win the title with 83 points we finish second with 80 points. Its a good accomplishment but uiltimatley a failure. You might be thinkin just do one more season you can still do this but alas no 5 years was the target 5 years was the aim another year would rely on regens and thats something I just cant do. Our wage bill is 49.95m 18th in the league not bad for someone who just came 2nd.
We earn a profit of 355m a staggering amount, however its not enough for ashley to keep the club who sells it on much to the fans delight. I fall on my sword resigning and retiring vowing never to return again at least not untill fm16.
But just before I do I take a look back at all my transfers.
Sansone was bought for 4.5 sold 2 years later for 15m played poorly was sold 2 years later for 3.3m to torino where he finishes the season well scoring 8 goals and 3 assists.
Virgil Van dijk finally breaks into the first team achieving more than double appearances in this year than his entire 3 years at chelsea.
Richards continues to play terrible for burnley Jimenez scores 10 for burnley and is sold for 5.5 a 2.4m profit not bad.
Perez plays for united after moving from chelsea for an 8m loss, however dont fret it turns out he was on our side playing 17 matches and scoring 2 goals slowing them down =)
Janmaat is a huge success at madrid playing over 50games achieving an average rating of 7.39, he moves to liverpool two years later and is wasted on the bench maddness.
Moussa Sissoko after moving to dortmund for 20m he struggles to adapt playing 38 games over 2 seasons with a 6.67 average rating, he moves to cska moscow for 4.2m where he plays better 6.9 avg rating.
tiote is an awful signing for parma playing consistencly poor 59 games avg 6.67 he moves to granada for 2m 2 years later and continues to struggle.
Januzaj and bony win the league with athletico with Januzaj becoming a first team regular and just tearing it up, bony does well in his few appearances but wants to leave for first team football he is currently transfer listed.
Rudger does a solid yet unremarkable job at city 20 appearances avg 7.
Thauvin proves to be a good buy for everton he excels playing every week making 6 assists 4 goals in his 28 appearances.
