Sold player, ineligible?

on my birmingham save i sold a player Spas Delev to Milan but ever since on my squad status section he is still there and is ineligible and every season i register my players he is angry about being left out when he does not play for me!! :S this is not the 1st time this has happened to me the same thing happened with Barazite on my arsenal save, why is this?

Can You Offer Him To Clubs Again, Or Is The Deal Done and Have You Got the money from milan ??

The same happened to me and I've tried everything I can think of and nothing works. I even used the FMRTE to player swap them all to their 'other' teams and as soon as I continued the game they reappeared in my squad. All you can do is dump them in the reserves and forget about them I think.
