Guys, I just finished some testing and got 100% confirmation that when you use "Instant Result" then the assistant manager almost always changes Wide Midfielder role in your tactic, of course, if your tactic has this role.
The assistant manager changes it to "Wide Playmaker" or "Winger" and his choice depends on the role rating of players.
Let's say your tactic has MR position with "Wide Midfielder" role and you use this Player "A" at MR position:
As you can see Player "A" has following ratings for roles:
1st place – "Wide Playmaker"
2nd place – "Winger"
3rd place – "Wide Midfielder"
When you use "Instant Result" then the assistant manager change the Wide Midfielder role in your tactic to "Wide Playmaker" role because he "thinks" that this role suites much better for the Player "A"
Other example, let's say your tactic has ML position with "Wide Midfielder" role and you use this Player "B" at ML position:
As you can see Player “B” has following ratings for roles:
1st place – "Winger"
2nd place – "Wide Playmaker"
3rd place – "Wide Midfielder"
When you use "Instant Result" then the assistant manager change the Wide Midfielder role in your tactic to "Winger" role because he ”thinks” that this role suites much better for the Player "B"
It explains why we see total randomness in the different tactic testing threads here because all they are made with "Instant Result" and all they have different players so it might be that in some tests players that are used at MR/ML positions get "Wide Playmaker" roles during testing and in other tests they get "Winger" role...
Also, players that play the game in regular way(without "Instant Result") are having totally difference experience than players that play with "Instant Result"...
And it explains why a tactic might show an amazing result(much better than other tactics) in some testing but when people try it in their save in real game it performs poorly or when people test this in other testing systems then they get very different result with it.
