South America staff

Hello everyone,

To this game I'm a newbie.
I already started a new game with large database.
I also would like to be able to find staff from South America.
In the staff search I couldn't find any Brazilian staff member (i found only 1).
Maybe there is an option before starting the game that i need to tick in the database advanced options?

I really hope you can help me, I will be much appreciate.

Here's some good coaches from South America, that's worth having a look at:
Jair Ventura - Assistant Manager
Vincenzo Pinpolini - Physical
Carlos Pracidelli - GK
Elio Carravetta - Physical
Michel Schumacher - Tactics
Flavio Tanajura - Defending
Fabio Mahseredjian - Overall

Hey hansie95,

I wasn't clear enough with my post.
I meant, when I go into staff search --> filter list, it doesn't show me the coaches from south america, even if i add a nationality condition and choose Brazil, it gives me only 1 coach (Adriano Basso).
I remember in my last save, when i entered the staff search --> filter list i could instantly saw the game found coaches from all region, now it gives me only from England.

do you know why is that?

What team/division are you playing in? If Brazil is out of your scouting range and nobody at the club has knowledge of Brazil you'l struggle to find the staff using the filter.

1. Maybe you have the "realistic transfers" square ticked and all Brazilians are thought not to be interested in you?
2. If you bring a couple of staff members from Brasil (esp scouts) the names of Brasilian staff members that come up on searches will increase.
3. Paulo Batista dos Santos is a brill free and low wage coach who goes almost anywhere.
4. My favourite Scout: ALEXANDRE CEOLIN.

thefwg - i gave you some screenshot on my database setup, that's the best indication you can get i guess.

MANUMAD, you are right about the "Realistic Transfer", it's marked, but something is strange here.
on the filter list when I set it by Coach, I get only one Brazilian staff member (check this out):

Even if i set it by Nationality (Brazil) + Coach, I get only one coach Adriano Basso (I forgot to take a screenshot but it doesn't matter, i guess you got my point)
When I search for a specific name (like you suggested me i searched for Paulo batista dos santos) from the top manual search bar, i managed to find him, and guess what, he does have interest to join my team, even if he slight interest, i'm still able to negotiate with him:

I couldn't find this staff member by the filter, not sure why, is it a bug? or I'm doing something wrong ? (which i'm really doubt about that this time but I'm willing to listen).

The staff filters on passion4fm dont work with latest patch. But he has an extensive list of the best staff as well so you can look for them by name.
