Southampton Appoint Liam Jackson as Manager
Southampton FC have acted swiftly to appoint a new manager after allegations of Alan Pardew's supposed affair with a club employee was revealed last week, new manager Liam Jackson was unveiled at a press conference today:
'I am delighted to have the chance to work as manager of Southampton Football Club and can assure the fans that promotion remains the primary goal of the season.'

Many fans believe that Jackson hasn't the credentials to manage at League 1 level and have hit out at the Southampton board for appointing a manager with no experience in professional management, Jackson however is convinced that he can steer the club back into the Championship at the first time of asking.
'People will cast doubts over my mental health for saying this but I firmly believe that the foundations are in place for this club to wipe out the 10 points deduction as soon as possible and make a push for the play-off places at the very least.'
Only time will tell.

Updates will be uploaded after every month, these will include: tranfers/loans in and out, match scores with brief description, star players and high goalscorers, league and cup competition news. I will use the occasional screenshots.

Southampton start with a 10 point deduction after last seasons administration, new chairman Markus Liebherr has injected massive amounts of cash to keep the club afloat but also to produce a platform on which to build.

I shall be bringing in my own staff in the new few weeks and will also get rid of any players/staff I consider to be 'dead wood'.

That will have to be all for tonight, transfer updates and perseason results will be completed for tomorrow;)
